My name is Leo. I am a musician from the United States. While I am self-taught in music production, I have a classical music background in oboe, and work as a freelance musician. Aside from performing, I also work in A/V recording and livestreaming musical events, and teach both private music lessons and music theory.

This is the homepage of YOINKETD, an ongoing musical project. Here you will find both music made by myself as well as other personal media and information. I hope you enjoy your stay.

As of now, this site is in its infancy, which will result in a lot more frequent updates as I build the main structure of the page. Once I am satisfied (if ever), the design will probably settle, and updates will be more dependent on any work/content that I have to share rather than me messing with some css here and there.

My current project is “The Paroles”, the album I’m working on. So far, the songs are all written and produced (which is why I’m able to post the dub mixes), but vocals haven’t been recorded yet. Recording is a very slow process, particularly when it is done out of your bedroom rather than a studio (can’t record when roommates are home making noise), but I have made decent progress and should have some actual songs to share here soon.

After multiple iterations of neocities websites, I decided to rebuild my website from scratch with Nekoweb as a host instead. Ever since making the move over, I’ve found that Nekoweb hosting has offered much more community than I felt on Neocities. Even in the first week of this site existing alone, I was interacting with other people more than I ever had during the three years I spent on neocities.

I don’t know if this will change (I get the sense that a lot of people are migrating over to Nekoweb from neocities, and perhaps with a large influx of new people the culture will change), but so far I have had a wonderful time browsing the sites of Nekoweb!
